It is with deep sorrow we announce the peaceful and unexpected passing of Bonnie Jean Jennings (nee Jolicoeur) at the age of 82 at F.J. Davey Home. The devoted wife of the late Vernon Howard Jennings. Beloved daughter of the late Agnes Lelilaiean (nee Stewart) and Wilfred Joseph Darcy Jolicoeur. Loving mother of Susan Jennings Wood (Simon) and Daniel Jennings. Dearly loved Gramma to Keira and Kaelen of Naples, FL, and grandmother to Caitlyn (predeceased) and Liam. Cherished sister of Richard Jolicoeur (Judy), Brenda Jolicoeur, Len Jolicoeur (Karen), and the late siblings Carol Schryer, Gary Jolicoeur, Bill Jolicoeur, Terry Jolicoeur, Judy Vanslyke (Mark). Sister-in-law of the late Art (Nora), sister-in-law of the late Arlene Schroeder (Paul). Bonnie is also survived by many nieces and nephews and greats; special friends Pat Leybourne and Marie Long (Gilkes).
Bonnie met Vern at Hills Hardware where they worked together and married in 1962. Bonnie was most proud of her ‘girlies’ granddaughters Keira and Kaelen. They were her pride and joy. Bonnie lived a simple life, loved to read, dabbled in Tupperware and loved her family dearly.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted to the ARCH (Algoma Residential Community Hospice) or in Diabetic research (Payable by cheque).
