Obituary for Auston Joe Rivard
Auston passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home, sadly found by his mom on June 22, 2023, at the age of 21.
Much loved son to Natasha Hill (Jamie Reynolds) and Christopher Rivard. Brother to Aumi Rivard (Jenna Bolduc) who have Auston’s precious niece on the way. Very cherished and special grandson to Denice Davey (Fred), the late Joe Di Maria, cherished first grandson to Laura Rivard and he also leaves behind his ‘Pa’ Chris Benwell. Nephew to Triston Dool, Clifford Arnill, Jeffrey Rivard and leaves behind many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind his love Nydeng and many friends.
Auston loved life. He was an old soul and was very unique. He loved to be outdoors and loved fishing.
A Celebration of Auston’s Life will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St, SSM) from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
The family would appreciate any donations to SOYA – Save Our Young Adults from Drug Abuse or to the Canadian Mental Health Association (Payable online or by cheque).
