Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with his wife by his side on Thursday July 18, 2019, 8 days before his 90th birthday. Arturo was born, July 26, 1929 in Figline Vegliaturo, Calabria, Italy. Devoted and beloved husband of Teresa and dear father of Maria Murtha (John), David and Mark Adamo. He was the beloved Nonno of Joanna and Angela Murtha. Son of the late Francesco and Rosina Adamo. Arturo was predeceased by his siblings, Elena, Roberto, Rocco and Gina. Dear brother in law of Pasquale Maida (Rosalba) and Franca Nocella (Giovanni) of Italy. He will be missed by his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to O'Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St) on Wednesday July 24, 2019 for a visitation from 10-12 p.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gregory's Parish at 1 p.m. Entombment at Holy Seplchure Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sault Area Hospital or St. Gregory's Parish. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all those who have cared for Arturo over the years, especially the staff of CCAC homecare and Ontario March Dimes.
