Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday February 25, 2020 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her loving husband Rosario. Mother of Frank (Linda), Maria Metallo (Ezio) and Mike (Sandra). Grandmother of Antonio (Melissa), late Sara (Josh), Samantha (Sebastian), Vanessa (Kevin), Anna and Ross. Great grandmother of Mia, Ella and Santino. Daughter of the late Francesco and Rosa Medaglia. Sister of Rosina Cicerelli (late Antonio), Vittoria Medaglia (late Giuseppe), late Ida Iacoe (Pasquale), Maria Calvano (late Gino), Sesta Guzzo (late Luigi), Settimia Amendola (Giovanni), Raffaela Medaglia, Ralph Medaglia (Rose), Elia Kruschack (Benno) and the late Giovanni Medaglia. Daughter-in-law of the late Francesco and Maria Polito. Sister-in-law of the late Raffaella Solinas (late Angelo), Anna Caputo (late Ernesto), Geniale Polito (Marisa) and the late Antonio Polito. Anna was a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews near and far. Family and friends are invited to visit at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (215 St. James St.) on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 1:00pm until time of service in the chapel at 3:00pm. The family would like to thank Dr. Dawson, Dr. Baath, and all the staff at the Sault Area Hospital 3rd floor for the care given to her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sault Area Hospital.
