Karvinen, Anni K (nee Tenhumaki)-
Passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on December 25, 2020 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Yrjo Karvinen. Sister of Jenny Patrakka of Sault Ste. Marie and Kaija Salminen of Finland. Predeceased by sister, Esteri Laine and brothers, Onni Tenhumaki, Erkki Tenhumaki and Tauno Tenhumaki. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews in Canada and Finland. Anni was a baker and a cake decorator by profession. After retiring, Anni continued to delight her family with her many delicious treats. Anni was also an avid gardener throughout her life. She lived her final years at Kotitalo, where her and sister and brother also lived. She loved living there. She always commented on how great the staff was. Special thank you to Dr. Culina for her care. Due to COVID restrictions, private funeral will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Ontario Finnish Resthome Association-Kotitalo or Lifespring Church of Sault Ste. Marie.
