Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, with his family by his side on Tuesday March 3, 2020 at the age 87. Beloved husband of Lidia. Cherished father of Marina (Ray) Latour and Patrizia (Steve) St. Louis. Loved by his grandchildren Jordan (Iolanda), Alexa-Rae (Tyler), Jenna, Brittany (Mike) and Matthew. Proud great grandfather of his 2 boys Noah and Cohen. Predeceased by his parents Julia and Marino Frani. Brother of the late Livio (Dora) Frani and brother-in-law of Bruno (Giuesppina) Tatonetti and Assunta (late Silvio) DiRenzo. He will be missed by his cousin Carmela (late Casimiro) Tatonetti and his many nieces and nephews in Sault Ste. Marie and Italy. Amerigo was a long-standing member of the Marconi Society and Club for 62 years. Family and friends are invited to visit at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (215 St. James St.) on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday March 7, 2020 at 10:00am at St. Gregory’s Church (71 Estelle St) with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. The family would like to thank all the nurses on 3B & 3C of the Sault Area Hospital for the excellent care given to him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sault Area Hospital or St. Gregory’s Church.
