Obituary for Sylvia Lavona Mersereau

Mersereau, Sylvia (nee Davis)
Passed away peacefully at Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on October 23, 2017 at the age of 83 years. A dedicated nurse for years at the Plummer Memorial Hospital – passionate about caring for people and her family. A good wife, a fantastic mother to her children and a good friend for the people around her. Survived by her loving husband George Mersereau.
Predeceased by her son Bradley (Simone) Mersereau. Lovingly remembered by her children: Tracey (Tom) McClelland, Blaine (Pierrette) Mersereau, Brent (Bonnie) Mersereau.
Grandmother to: Emily (Taylor Servais) McClelland, Brittany (Chris Hales) McClelland, Brianna (Sean Plumley) McClelland, Alistair Mersereau, Jacqueline Mersereau, Emma Mersereau, Morgan Mersereau Sorensen, Adam Mersereau, Zachary Mersereau, Joshua Mersereau, Alicia Mersereau, Rhys (Jaci) Mersereau, Seychelle (Colin) Godbout.
Great grandmother to: Gillian Mersereau, Cooper Mersereau, Ethan Mersereau
Sister to: Tony (Louise) Davis, Helen (late Don) Pendle, Lowayne (Helmut) Meuler, Don (Diane) Davis.
Daughter of the late Mary and Don Davis.
The family would like to thank: Algoma Community Care Access Centre, Bayshore nurses, ARCH – staff and volunteers and Charlie from Medigas who were all awesome in their care for Sylvia, dear friends Fran & Don Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home at 215 St. James St Sault Ste. Marie. A private family service will be held.
