Passed away peacefully in his 91st year on Sept. 2, 2017 at Extendicare Maple View, Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Dear husband of Lisetta (Barban). Loving father of Enzo (Geri) and Susan Koprash (George). Predeceased by his dear son, Dario (Marla). Devoted Nonno to Lisa Gamwell (Adam), Lynsey (Matt Droppo), Leanna (Mark Barsevskis),
Cassandra (Adam Hughes), Paige (Josh Buchan), Kristina Koprash (Mike Hudson) and
Kevin Koprash (Stephanie Dagenais). Brother to Paolo (late Gilberta, Oakville, ON) and Benvenuto (late Elsa, Italy). Predeceased by sisters Moretta, Rica, Siena and Rosina, all of Italy. Zio to many nieces and nephews. Francesco was born in Pordenone, Italy on June 11,1927 to Giuseppe and Santa (Turchet). He immigrated to Canada with his new bride,Lisetta in November 1953 and settled to raise his family in Sault Ste. Marie. He was an Algoma Steel retiree and a long time member of the Marconi and Fogolar Furlan Clubs. Cremation has taken place. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A private service will take place followed by interment in Holy Sepulchre Columbarium near his son, Dario. Donations may be made to the charity of your choosing. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James Street, 705-759-8456.
