Beatrice  Grandbois (St. Jules)
Peacefully at ARCH with her children by her side on Sunday December 24, 2017, Beatrice Ledger in her 96th year. She has now gone to dance with the angels. Predeceased by her husbands Jean-Louis Grandbois and Art Ledger. She leaves behind her children Jackie Schriver (John Lavee), Lucille Poirier (Eugene), Jeannine Dugas (Regis), Leo Grandbois (Bonnie) and her step children Gary Dale and Dorlene Ledger. Grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 25 and great great grandmother of 3. Survived by her sisters Germaine Fountain (Doug), Anna Thibodeau (Albert), sisters-in-law Claire Welton (Morley) and Salomee Grandbois (Jacques). Predeceased by her brothers Rene St. Jules (Genevieve), Aime (Jean), Hector, Leo (Hermance) and her sisters Jeanne Thibodeau, Sister Rolande St. Jules, Cecile Ambeault (Roy), Theresa Ouellet (Rene) and Liliane Parissenti (Guido). Beatrice will be missed by her many nieces and nephews as well as her many friends and dancing buddies. Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (corner of Cathcart and St. James St.) on Thursday December 28th, 2017 from 6:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Veronica’s Church on Friday, December 29th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Ron Ambeault Officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital 3A, and the caregivers and volunteers at ARCH for the care given to our mother and the kindness and compassion given to the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ARCH.
