It is with great sadness His family announces his death at the age of 74 while on vacation in Puerto Plata Dominican Republic. Survived by his wife Florence (Masters). His sons Brad (Mary), Brian and his daughter Heather Panico (James). His grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, Melissa, Derek, Schyler, Shania, Lewis and Makayla. Great grandchildren Roman, Mya and Jaxon (Little Jackie). Predeceased by his father John and his beloved mother Dorothy (MacFarlane) who sadly passed away only 3 months ago. Brother-in-law to the late Emie Masters (late Bev), late Bob Masters (late Florence), late Wes Masters (Carmel), Angeline Mattila (Gary), Donald Masters (Vina), Hugh Masters, Harry Masters (Lois), Ted Masters (Mary Ann), Nancy Cerenzie (John) and Lynn Dobbin (Barry). He was uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was a dedicated member of the Echo Bay Elks for the last 33 years where he was a past Exalted Ruler and also a past District Deputy. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at the Echo Bay Elk’s Hall Lodge 535 (96 Church St., Echo Bay) on Saturday February 25, 2017 from 2:00pm-6:00pm. All memorial donations should be made out to Echo Bay Elks Lodge 535 in his honour.
