Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the family. Richard was a good friend of mine we were in the same grade four class together back in 2000. After he moved from St. Bernadette i'd see him every once in awhile out and about and he'd always stop to give me a hug and ask how i was doing. He will be greatly missed! RIP Richard we all will miss your smile and stopping to talk. you truly were an amazing person and friend! xo until we see you again keep watch over all of us !

Condolence From: Susan Dennie
Condolence: To the Peat family, I'm so sadden by your loss. I didn't know Rich but both of my girls did. Over the last days I have learned so much about him. How he was always taking care of his friends, he always had a song to sing, and just over all what a great guy you raised! I do hope it brings you peace to know how many people Richard touch in life. This is a small town and everyone talks but when people are talking about your son, it is so great to hear the kind things and how much happiness Richard brought to people. My heart goes out to you at this very difficult time.

We have the fondest memories of wonderful years on Taskar Drive where the four 1991 babies - Richard, Paul, Christopher and Tessa - spent so much time playing together in each other's yards in the early years, trick-or-treating, and sharing each other's birthdays. Forever young, dear Richard.

Condolence: To all in Rich's family I got the pleasure to meet, work with and train Rich at Dairy Queen, for several years. Rich was a very friendly guy that was very easy to get along with. Rich could always light up a room, and he was always good for a good laugh. He could always put a smile on your face, and he was very smart and very helpful, and always took pride in his work. Im sending my condolences to the family, letting you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of need and I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of such a young man.

Condolence From: Cindy Montgomery
Condolence: Janet and Doug; We are so very sadden to hear of the loss of Richard. He was such a wonderful young man who always took the time to say hello whenever we met on the street or even when we saw him at the college. I will always remember Kaitlyn, Richard and the gang hanging out here at the house or down at your place for Bonfires. I will never forget looking out my window and seeing him playing hockey in the street with my son Devon and my youngest daughter Lauren. Richard had a loving heart and he will always be remembered in our hearts and greatly missed by all. Hugs from Cindy Montgomery, Kaitlyn, Devon and Lauren.

Condolence: Janet and Doug, my condolences go out to you and your family. Rich is an amazing guy who has the talent of lighting up any room with a simple phrase and/or look. I had the opportunity to play hockey with Rich and become good friends. I also had the joys of him training me at Dairy Queen (what a blast that was haha). His charisma will never be forgotten as well as the ability to put a smile on anybody's face. RIP Rich.
