Suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital, with her loving daughter by her side, on Friday October 7, 2016, Shirley Laurila went to be with her Lord. Shirley will be deeply missed by her daughter Erica (Terry). Predeceased by her parents Charles and Joy Mathieson and her brothers Brian and David. She will be missed by friends and her extended family in Saskatchewan. Many thanks to all the Dr.’s and nurses who have cared for Mom over the years. Mom meant the world to me, she changed my life for the better in countless ways. I thank God for the gift of my Mom and the privilege to be called her daughter. I love you and look forward to when we meet again. A Memorial Service will be held at Elim Pentecostal Church on Wednesday October 12, 2016 at 7:00pm with Pastor Benny Kjiersdam officiating.
